Tips and Ideas on Creating Great Party Items

Invitations and Thank You Cards

There are mainly two options to print invitations and thank you cards.

-You can print at a photo lab such as walmart, walgreens, snapfish, etc in 4x6’’ size. If you prefer a 5x7’’ size or some other size and wish to print at the photo lab please let us know and we can adjust the file to your needs at no extra cost.

-You can also print at home or any office supplies store such staples, office max, kinkos, etc using card stock paper 8.5x11 and separate each one with a scissors or paper cutter. The office supply stores can separate them for you.

Bottle Labels

Once you receive your digital PDF file it is time for you to choose the best paper to use and get ready to print. The file you will get from us will look something like this (see photo) with 4 labels each label 2.5x8.5’’

We recommend that you print on waterproof sticker paper 8.5x11’’, and separate each label with a scissors or paper cutter. If you can not find waterproof paper, then regular sticker paper will do the job in a satisfactory way though if the bottles are left for long in ice buckets the label might start looking wet. Again, we prefer waterproof sticker paper.

You can also opt to print using pre-cut labels, though they can be difficult to align. You will need to let us know which ones you will be using so we can adjust the PDF and make a template for you, free of charge.

There are many options of pre-cut stickers but we like to recommend the ones found at the following link for 16.9 oz bottles - http://www.onlinelabels.com/OL1985.htm?kws=yes

and we like to recommend the ones found at the following link for 8oz bottles - http://www.onlinelabels.com/ol5450.htm?src=dlc-179

Another option would be to use Avery 22845, though we are not very fond of the size of these labels since they are a bit narrow. The size is 1.25x9.75’’. We do have to mention that many of our clients did take this option and had good results so it is a matter of taste.

If you are planning to use a different kind of stickers, please let us know and we will make a template for you, free of charge.

Favor Stickers/Labels

Our printable favor stickers are 2’’ diameter, though we can create any size stickers upon request. For the 2" stickers you will receive a PDF file with 12 labels and a .doc file.

We recommend to print them on sticker paper 8.5x11’’ and a separate them with a 2’’ hole puncher.

If you prefer, it is also possible to use pre-cut stickers/labels, though these can be tricky to align. The .doc file we send you is a template compatible with Avery 22807 pre-cut stickers.

If you are planning to use a different kind of pre-cut stickers please let us know so we can make a template for you, free of charge.

Favor Tags

Our printable favor tags are 2’’ diameter, though we can create any size tags upon request.

We recommend to print them on card stock paper 8.5x11’’ and use a 2" hole puncher to separate them.

You will then need to make a very small hole at the top of the tag (with a small hole puncher, like the one that is used to file paper) and add a piece of ribbon, which can be matching or not as per your taste, and tie the tags to your favor or gift bags, as shown in picture.

Round Banners/Flag (Bunting) Banners

Our printable round banners and flag banners come with each letter separated.

For round banners each circle is 8’’ approx.

For the flag banner, the measure of the triangle is approx 8'' (top) x10'' (sides).

For best results print each letter or image on card stock paper 8.5x11 and cut out the image with scissors or cutter.

Once you printed all the files, you will need a ribbon or string to hold the pieces together.

It is important to leave enough ribbon at the sides to hang it from your preferred place.

Hand Sanitizer Labels

You will need to provide the size of the label you require. Common sizes we do are Purell 0.5 oz, 1 oz, 2 oz, bath and body mini pocket size, but we can create any size labels for any hand sanitizer you might want to use.

You will need sticker paper 8.5x11’’ and separate each label with a scissors or paper cutter.

Party games

You will receive a PDF 8.5x11 with 2 cards 5x7’’. Some special games (with a lot of wording) are 8.5x11’’.

To print the party games you will need card stock paper 8.5x11 (or regular paper if you prefer) and separate them with scissors or paper cutter.

You can print at home or you can take the file to print to any office supply store (such Staples, Office Max, etc).

T-Shirts

You will receive a PDF 8.5x11’’ image file. You will need a white t-shirt, transfer paper 8.5x11'' and an iron. Once printed you need to use the iron to transfer the image of the paper on the t-shirt.

Tent Cards/Placement Cards/Food Labels

Our tent cards are usually 2.5x3.5’’ when folded, though we can create any size of tent cards upon request. You will receive an editable file (.doc) where you can edit your own details on each card. You will need to print in card stock paper 8.5x11’’ (4 cards per page) and separate them with scissors or cutter.

Small Round Candy Labels

Our small round candy labels are 0.75’’ and they are to be used at the bottom of mini candies. Common uses are for Hershey Kisses®, Rolos®, etc. You will receive a PDF file with about 100 labels.

You can print these on sticker paper 8.5x11'' and use a ¾’’ hole puncher to separate them.

Though sometimes a bit tricky to align it is also possible to print using pre-cut stickers, like Avery 5408, Avery 5472, or http://www.onlinelabels.com/OL5275.htm?src=dlc-98

If you opt to use pre-cut stickers please let us know so that we can make a template for you, free or charge.

Candy Bar Labels 1.55oz

You will receive a pdf 8.5x11'' digital image file with 2 labels. Common uses 1.55oz chocolate bars. You can print on either sticker paper or card stock paper 8.5x11’’ and separate them with scissors or paper cutter. If using card stock paper you will need some kind of very gentle safe glue (edible or the one used for kids at school) to add the labels to the candy bars.

For some of the newer 1.55oz candy bars that don’t have the foil wrapping around the chocolate you have two options to stick the label:

- Stick the label directly on the paper box of the chocolate (though this is the less preferred option)
- Remove the chocolate from the box and wrap the chocolate very nicely in aluminum kitchen foil. Then wrap the printed candy labels over the aluminum foil. Stick the labels using edible glue or other very gentle glue (if you are nor printing in sticker paper).

Though sometimes a bit tricky to align you can also print using pre-cut labels. You can use the once at the following link - http://www.onlinelabels.com/OL685.htm?src=dlc-98

If using pre-cut stickers please let us know so that we can make a template for you, free of charge.

Mini Candy Labels/ Nugget Candy

You will receive a PDF digital image with multiple labels. Common uses are for Hershey Miniature ®, and Nugget. You can print on either sticker paper or card stock paper 8.5x11’’ and separate them with scissors or paper cutter. If using card stock paper you will need some kind of very gentle glue (edible or the one used for kids at school) to add the labels to the candy bars.

Though sometimes a bit tricky to align, you can opt to print on pre-cut labels. For mini candy labels we recommend the ones at the following link for mini candy - http://www.onlinelabels.com/OL800.htm?src=dlc-98

For nugget candy you can use the following pre-cut labels - Avery 5160

If you are planning to use pre-cut labels please let us know as we will need to make a template for you, free of charge.

Cupcake Toppers

You will receive a digital image PDF with 12 circles of 2'' diameter each.

We recommend to print them in card stock paper and to use a 2'' hole puncher or scissors to separate them.

You will need to print double the quantity of cupcake toppers so that you will have the picture showing on both sides with the pick in the middle. For example, if you are going to make 12 cupcake toppers, you will need to print 24 circles.

As picks you can use toothpick or something else of your preference.

If you bought scalloped cupcake toppers, you will also receive the scalloped border. Print as per the above and separate the scalloped border with a scissors. At this point you have two choices:

One is to to print everything once and you create a cupcake topper that is one sides i.e. having the image, scalloped border and pick all stuck together

The second option is to print everything twice and have the pick in the middle of everything with the design on both sides.

Cupcake Wrappers

You will receive a digital image PDF file with 3 cupcake wrappers. We recommend that you print them on card stock paper 8.5x11 and separate them with a scissors. Then wrap them around the cupcake and clip the ends of the wrapper together.

Welcome Signs/Party Signs

Our welcome and party signs are usually 8.5x11’’, though we can create them in any size upon request. You will receive an PDF digital image file.

You will need to print in card stock paper 8.5x11’’.

You can then choose to use some kind of double sided tape to stick the signs in your places of preference or you can also use some ribbon to hang them with, making two very small hole at the top sides of the sign (with a small hole puncher, like the one that is used to file paper).
